  • A baseline and progress records to discuss with your provider.
  • At-home or provider-led delivery, depending on suitability and availability.
Your next steps
01

Before you start

Discuss your child’s needs, equipment, available time and the support you will need. Agree the programme and fees before enrolment.

02

During the programme

A parent or caregiver supports the sessions. Your provider explains the activities and how to keep the progress data sheet.

03

After the cycle

Review progress against the starting point and discuss whether to continue, adapt the approach or explore other support.

Questions you may have

Let’s make it clearer.

Home participation needs an involved adult and a suitable computer setup. ReadON is not a diagnosis or a replacement for your child’s existing professional support.

What happens when I first contact ReadON?

We discuss who you are supporting, their age, your goals and any existing professional support. The team can then explain suitable next steps, assessment options, programme arrangements and fees.

Can my child take part at home?

At-home participation may be suitable when a parent or caregiver can actively guide the sessions and follow the programme with provider oversight. The team will help you discuss suitability, the support required and the equipment you need.

How long is the programme?

The current programme uses a 15-session cycle, typically with three sessions each week. A session may take about an hour. Your provider will confirm the schedule. Further cycles depend on the review and your agreed plan; a cycle is not a guarantee of results.

How will we track progress?

The provider establishes a baseline, explains the progress data sheet and reviews observations during the programme. At the end of the cycle, progress is compared with the starting point to guide a discussion about next steps.
