What is ReadON?

ReadON combines digital cognitive assessment and personalised, game-based cognitive training. It is designed to support skills involved in learning and daily life, with guidance from people who understand the learner’s needs.

How are OrangeCheck and ReadON different?

OrangeCheck is the digital cognitive assessment product. It helps establish a profile of strengths and areas that may need attention. ReadON is the structured training programme, using guided game-based activities and progress review. The team can explain which starting point fits your goals.

Is ReadON only for children who find reading difficult?

No. ReadON’s scope includes children, adolescents, adults and older people. It is explored in family, school, therapy, healthcare, rehabilitation and senior-care settings. Individual suitability should be discussed before enrolment.

Does a cognitive assessment provide a diagnosis?

No. A cognitive profile can inform a conversation with a qualified professional, but it does not replace a formal diagnostic assessment or medical advice.

Is there a guaranteed result or improvement timeline?

Progress varies with the individual and the way a programme is delivered. Discuss realistic goals and how progress will be reviewed with your provider. Ask the team for any applicable written commercial terms before purchasing; do not assume a particular result or refund entitlement.

Which languages are available?

The cognitive assessment is available in 12 languages, including English, Arabic, and Hindi. Please confirm the language available for the assessment, reporting, and provider support before taking the assessment.

Where is ReadON available?

ReadON Arabia supports enquiries across Bahrain and the GCC, including the UAE. Delivery may be at home, in a clinic or through an institution. Contact the team to confirm provider availability and the options for your location.

What happens when I first contact ReadON?

We discuss who you are supporting, their age, your goals and any existing professional support. The team can then explain suitable next steps, assessment options, programme arrangements and fees.

Can my child take part at home?

At-home participation may be suitable when a parent or caregiver can actively guide the sessions and follow the programme with provider oversight. The team will help you discuss suitability, the support required and the equipment you need.

How long is the programme?

The current programme uses a 15-session cycle, typically with three sessions each week. A session may take about an hour. Your provider will confirm the schedule. Further cycles depend on the review and your agreed plan; a cycle is not a guarantee of results.

How will we track progress?

The provider establishes a baseline, explains the progress data sheet and reviews observations during the programme. At the end of the cycle, progress is compared with the starting point to guide a discussion about next steps.

Can it support a child with ADHD, autism or dyslexia?

ReadON is explored by families and professionals supporting neurodiverse children and learners with additional needs. A label alone does not determine suitability. Discuss your child’s individual needs and existing care or learning plan with the team and their qualified professional.

What equipment is needed for ReadON training?

Use a desktop or laptop with a mouse, keyboard, over-ear headphones and a reliable internet connection. A screen of 15 inches or larger is preferred. Training is not designed around a phone or touchscreen. Ask the team to check your equipment before enrolment; assessment requirements may differ.

Are there age or health restrictions?

The ReadON programme guidance states that it is not recommended for children under four or for anyone with epilepsy or a history of seizures. Tell the provider about relevant health conditions and seek medical advice where appropriate before starting. Contact the team for the full suitability and safety guidance.

What if the participant feels unwell or uncomfortable?

Stop the activity and contact the provider if the participant feels unwell or experiences concerning symptoms. Seek medical advice where needed. Do not continue a session simply to complete the schedule.

How can I use ReadON in my practice?

Providers can explore in-clinic sessions, home visits or parent-led sessions with professional oversight. The appropriate model depends on your discipline, client needs and local requirements. Start with a walkthrough and implementation discussion.

Do I need CRCT certification to begin?

Providers who successfully complete ReadON Therapy with at least two children in accordance with the required implementation guidelines, known as the ReadON Way, are awarded the Certified ReadON Cognitive Therapist (CRCT) certification. The CRCT certification confirms that the provider has demonstrated practical experience in implementing ReadON Therapy according to ReadON’s prescribed protocols. It does not replace any professional qualification, clinical credential, or local licensing requirement.

What does the certification pathway involve?

The pathway includes practical implementation training and successful delivery of client programmes in line with the ReadON Way. Ask for the current requirements, assessment process and fees before committing.

How can a school get started?

Begin with a discussion about the learners, the goals and the staff who would supervise delivery. Agree the equipment, timetable, family consent and review process before starting. The team can prepare a tailored proposal.

Does ReadON replace existing learning support?

No. It is intended to sit alongside professional and educational support. Teachers, families and relevant professionals should continue to work together around each learner’s needs.

How much does ReadON cost?

Fees depend on the assessment, programme and delivery arrangement. The commercial model has moved to session-based pricing. Ask for a written quote that explains platform charges, professional support, taxes, any credit expiry and exactly what counts as a billable session.
